Valeria & Grady first met in 2017 while pursuing their careers in dentistry at

Creighton University. What was long an innocent friendship quickly

spiraled into more when Valeria finally agreed to go on their first date. But,

she didn’t make it easy on him. She first turned him down when he asked

her to take him horseback riding. Then again when he planned a dinner

date for her. It took a very uncomfortable morning in the Oral Surgery

department at Creighton, and a party bus trip to a Husker game for Valeria

to finally agree to that first date. And, from that first date they never looked back.

 

Grady’s graduation in 2022 started a year long stretch of long

distance has began his career in Reno, NV and Valeria stayed in Omaha to

finish dental school. Distance got a little easier for them in December of

2022 when they got engaged outside the Morales’ home in Lincoln, NE. In

July of 2023, Valeria packed up and moved out to Reno where they have

anxiously been awaiting their wedding day.
